Freehold is designed to monitor Critical Dates for the
Tentative Closing Option for Freehold Properties as defined
under the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act.
We have made it our goal to make
the administration of Critical Dates and the production of
the proper notices accurate and simple.
History
We have been developing software
for a new home builder since 2002 and for one of the sales
offices since 2001. When the provisions of the New Home
Warranties Act were changing we were called in to
accommodate these changes within the existing project
management software. While doing this in 2008, we realized
just how incredibly complex these rules are and we
abstracted this section of the program out for wider
use.
