The Canadian Nutrient Database is a simple program that gives Canadian nutritional information on over 5000 foods.

The Canadian Nutrient Database gives Canadian nutrient values including Canadian fortification standards, for 46 nutrients, for over 5000 foods. It lets you select different serving sizes for each food item and all values are updated automatically.

This program also gives you the percent of Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) for 20 nutrients in each food selection.

Data:

The nutrient values of the Canadian Nutrient Database are based on the Canadian Nutrient File 2007b values per 100 grams of product.

The base RDI's used are from Table 6-5, Recommended Daily Intake (D.01.013, D.02.006) of the Canadian Food and Drug Regulations.

Both metric and imperial serving sizes are supported.
