The nutrient values of The American Nutrient Database are based on the values per 100 grams of product of:

The Canadian Nutrient Database

The nutrient values of The Canadian Nutrient Database are based on:
The Canadian Nutrient File 2007b values per 100 grams of product.
 
The base RDI's used are from Table 6-5, Recommended Daily Intake (D.01.013, D.02.006) of the Canadian Food and Drug Regulations.
 
Both metric and imperial serving sizes are supported.
