You Should Be In ControlHow many times have you bookmarked a web site only to go back later and find it no longer exists. So you go out and find another site, which is similar, but not quite the same and set up your routine all over again. Recently people who purchased music with a Digital Rights Management schema attached found out that their DRM server no longer existed and they were forced to leave their music on one machine. Amazon sells Kindles - the E-book reader. People who purchased George Orwells Animal Farm and 1984 were really surprised when Amazon ended up in a dispute with the publisher and then sucked these books back off the owner's Kindles. I had a client for my CRM software who claimed he didn't need it. His company provided everything. In the end he did re-create his client records using my software - One Week Before they laid him off and showed him out the door with no access to his data. Luckily he had his own data. We do believe you should control your content. |
